This is an Eli Roth film. I guess he saw Weapons and figured it needed about a dozen more movies worth of blood and gore. This feels like It + Weapons + Cooties set in the Hostel universe.
Below is the green band trailer. There is a red band one, but I think it gives away too much AND has more gore than probably the last dozen horror films I've seen.
