The Met Gala

Hundreds of celebs there.

Scrolling through the pictures while eating delicious and spicy pad Thai, two thoughts occurred to me:
1. I think I'd pass if I was a celebrity and the country was going through an affordability crisis for 6 years.
2. Seems like there are more non-white people there than white people. No comment, just found that to be interesting.

In related news, TMZ has officially shifted focus to politicians because "people don't care about celebrities anymore".

We watched the red carpet last night on E! and it was interesting, but they didn't show all the interesting outfits, like the bubble one. My family (me included) likes to watch + critique.

But yeah, a $100k/ticket show ain't winning love from the common people. That being said, most celebs get in for free from fashion houses, sponsors, etc who actually buy the tickets.

One thing I believe a lot of people don't understand is that the rich and famous don't actually pay for a lot of their public lifestyle. It's always taken care of like you said, but still I'd come up with a "prior commitments" or "filming on location". It's a bad look in a time when people are pretty over celebrities.
