My current mobile obession.
An extremely simple SimEarth sim. The whole world (not Earth, I don't think) has seen an apocalypse and you're not restoring it. It's all laid out in a grid and you tap each square to reveal it. Squares will be oil, water, earth, mountains, fish, debris, remnants of the past, etc. Each affects how many taps it takes to clear the square.
You then start rebuilding civilization. However, you have to manage power, resources, and pollution. Too little power or too much pollution and your productivity takes a massive hit. You can basically put stuff where ever you like, but there are limits. Cities are where you find them. Ditto for actual terrain, but you can pick what to build where.
There are events despite the game being a solo experience. The events are very obviously P2W, but they're extremely generous with the gifts to even F2P peeps. Again, because it's a solo experience, the P2W doesn't affect F2P at all except leaderboard standings, and who gives a shit about that?
If you're a completionist or explorer in games, this could appeal to you. No need to play daily. You can play an hour, you can play 5 minutes.
