Good trailer. Seems like a different take on the original.

Well, mean, the original was a book. And the book was about a game show. So. . . ? Did they even say the first one was based on the book? Or did it just happen to have the same title?

Seems much more like the book, yes? Been a long time since I read it.

The first one did credit King, yes.

And I've never read the book. Does it take place in a game show studio or everywhere in America?

He can travel anywhere he wants/is able to, in the book.

It's entertaining, although a bit ridiculous throughout.

The overall message about "the network" having total control of our lives, obviously alluding to the government and corps in the real world, is pretty depressing if you consider it for a moment. We're basically already living in a world where we're disposable assets to those in power. We just don't get to enjoy a game show.

Fun movie. Not even remotely as charming as the original, which is a shame because it should have been.
