No, i hadn't gotten that memo before I watched the movie. "I shouldn't have to read/watch the supplementary podcasts and material in order to understand the movie."

It's also a direct follow up to Tusk, and eventually, Moose Jaws will be the third in the trilogy.
This Killroy film came out of nowhere.
Although, to be fair, the only podcast I still subscribe to with Smith is Hollywood Babble On and they've been radio silent through C-19.
