Fix your gas can

A while back the EPA made good gas cans illegal. They could no longer have vent holes, and the nozzle had to be this self-sealing thing that didn't vent air well, and it would take about 3 full minutes to trickle gas into my lawn tractor. And, I had to apply so much lateral pressure on the nozzle to hold it open while pouring that I often leaked from the base while using it.

Then the other day, the nozzle of one of my cans stopped working. You could... manipulate it... but gas wouldn't flow.
When amazoning for replacement nozzles, I discovered you could still buy the old ones that actually worked.

Installed it on my gas can, and was able to fill my tractor in about 10 seconds. The flow is glorious, and it feels like I'm back in 1985, filling up the push mower without a care in the world safe in the knowledge The Gipper was in office, keeping the commies in check.
You have to drill a hole to install the vent, but it sealed so well that when I next used it, when the heat from the garage had expanded the air in the can, it was a big WHOOSH of equalizing pressure when I popped the seal. So, making them illegal because evaporation was pretty fucking stupid.
Get one of those replacement nozzles for every gas can you own, and thank me later.
