The Oscars 2020

CNN is there to call the nominations racist...again.
Hey CNN, you know why Harriet Tubman didn't get more nominations? Because the reviews say it sucked.
And can we fucking stop with the "award shows need diversity" bullshit? If a white actor was the best actor, then they deserve the award. If a black actor was the best actor, then they deserve the award. End of fucking story. Award shows don't need quotas. Such a thing would take any credibility an award has away. Nominate the best actors, no matter their race, and that's that.
Oh, YOU believe that so and so should have been nominated for some film most people have never heard of? Maybe you're right! Here's the problem though: Not only is it a small almost unheard of film, but say it's a black female acting in a film about black life. Whitey already is going to have a problem relating, but add on that men might not relate as well, and you eliminate a lot of potential votes. That's not a problem that can be fixed! that's simply human nature. Plus, there's the one billion percent thing that's impossible to change, people's opinions. YOU might think a performance was award winning, but someone else might not. For example: Napoleon Dynamite wasn't funny and Citizen Kane is overrated. Just my opinion, but it's just as valid as the opinion of someone who disagrees.
God forbid someone that isn't a person of color wins an award in 2020.
Best picture nominees.
I've seen three of them, and want to see three others. Of the three I saw, while I was entertained by all, only Joker was memorable.
