It's also been announced Comedy Central is giving him his own show again. (The last one he quit. Google it as I'll probably get details wrong.)

I understand that people like him and find him funny. I tried watching his comedy special once and he did ALL his jokes in the same deadpan-ish style and I didn't love it. Like Mitch Hedberg could pull it off, but even he laughed at himself. Maybe I just got a bad special or don't appreciate the humor appropriately.

Everyone has different tastes, which is what makes humanity interesting.
That being said, I've had issues with Jeselnik in the past. So it's possible his style just hasn't clicked with you yet. Let me explain...
Back when Greg Giraldo died, Jeselnik took his spot on roasts (or something to that effect). One joke, in particular, got my attention. As everyone else was blasting the guest of honor and the dais, he got his moment and did the same, but when it came to his joke on Lisa Lampenelli, he simply deadpanned "You're cool". Very meta, high level comic's comic type of joke. I knew nothing else about him, but I dug that.
Then he did the famous Aurora, Co. tweet, which really got him on the map.
I think along this time is when he got his show on Comedy Central. The show was brilliant and he wasn't just deadpanning everything. I then started getting bits of his stand up into my Pandora comedy stations (Tom Segura is one, Dave Attell is the other). I found them very funny.
That's when I sought out his stand up special on Netflix. I tried watching it and, like you, found it very monotone and didn't care for it. I think I stopped watching about halfway through.
I also tried listening to his podcast and didn't care for that. To be fair, it's him and one of his childhood friends, but it didn't work for me. I also didn't like Segura's podcast, and I love his comedy.
However, his bits on Pandora kept being funny, and they weren't just the same ones recycled over and over, there were a lot of them.
I even sought out YouTube videos of Jeselnik making live appearances on TV shows, and murdering the people who don't know his act. Funny stuff.
So I went back and watched the special again or maybe it was a different point by then? I honestly don't know as the time frame here is years. Anyway, I loved it. It was finally clicking with me and I started to see beyond the deadpan, and he does laugh at himself.
Maybe some of the stuff I've seen from the actual person, not the on stage persona helps? Following him on Twitter, hearing about all the controversy with his first Comedy Central show, etc. probably really helped me finally figure him out a bit more.
I know, I know. Why would someone need to go through all of that just to watch a comic? They shouldn't, I'm just relating my journey when I had the exact issue as you.

IT's @, not hashtag. Netflix has a subaccount for comedy apparently.

Yep. They release one stand up special a week and have been doing so for some time. Netflix has become the leader in stand up comedy, which has to piss off Comedy Central.

His prison story on Kimmel is entertaining and he doesn't deadpan the whole time.
