Sometimes I like to spend time with my wife, and she likes stupid reality shows. One show she watches that I have found to be highly entertaining is this one.

It's about people who meet inmates online and start romantic relationships with them. Then the filming begins when the person gets out and that relationship begins.

The train wreck that ensues is comedy gold. You can't look away. You feel bad for them because, and this will shock you, these people are typically damaged goods and sad.

There's young, kinda, sorta attractive, but trashy girl whose mom was big into drugs. Militant black guy who is 40 and either Muslim or still thinks it's the 1920s. Sad sack farmer guy who spends his entire savings just for companionship. Virgin girl who gets engaged to an inmate not realizing he married his baby momma just months prior, and there's a hilarious love triangle going on there. Tweek (South Park) as an adult who tries to find love with a crackhead.

The people behind the show are in on the laughs with you too. They grab all the proper shots, do the right replays, and the graphics add more humor with the love triangle as they move a person's picture in and out based on who is in the scene.

You will not believe the shit these people do in the name of love. Loneliness should really be considered a severe mental handicap.

I'd tell you what channel this is on, but I have no idea. My wife DVRs it.

It's on WE.tv. Is that like a woman channel, or former Oprah tv channel or something?

It's on youtube.tv, so we'll see.

I didn't even know we get that channel.

It's funny to see what programs get recommended to me, and how I can tell when someone's been using my account.

All it recommends to me are sports. That's mainly what I watch on YouTubeTV.

Sometimes my wife or kids will use my login and a Housewife show or kids show will pop in the recommendations.
