The Giver (2014)

Jeff Bridges and Meryl Streep carry a teenager protagonist in a Utopian (or is it?) future society, that doesn't allow memories of the past.
This trailer doesn't give away the film making gimmick they used, which I sort of liked. I'm not really a gimmick guy, but it was done correctly, here.
Anyway, the movie had some surprisingly dark moments. I think it was worth seeing, even with its flaws.
I almost wonder if this had an anti-abortion message built in to it.
