A girl discovers she accidentally caught Santa on video and convinces her non-believing teenage brother into staking out Santa. They interfere and mess up Christmas night. Now determined to help Santa get the night back on track, the two kids go on a crazy adventure with old St. Nick (Kurt Russell).
This is a cute film that you can watch with the kids. It has really good breakdowns of Santa's process, and dealing with the non-believers. There's some winking to the adults throughout that is nice. It gets a bit goofy about halfway through when the song number and the elves appear...
Kurt Russell clearly loved this role and really chews the scenery. There's a cameo late, and it's exactly what you want.
Your kids will enjoy it, and it's good enough to entertain the adults.
