Yay Hulu!

Margot Robbie makes an offer to an underworld figure: Let me kill your hired assassins and take their job. Simon Pegg got bad news from the doctor and wants to end it all. Mike Meyers is a custodian in a subway. All of their stories converge and you won't know what's really going on until the end of each.

I have mixed feelings about this film. It tries REALLY hard to be stylish and fails. The story is good enough, with a BIG snag: it cheats...kinda. There's a Scream 2 thing going on, but not. It's hard to explain without spoilers.

Simon Pegg is awesome. He's really good here, and this isn't a normal role for him.

Mike Meyers is decent. He tries to separate himself from the characters he's become known for playing, and he kind of succeeds, but not really.

Margot Robbie is hot. Let's just get that out of the way. She does a really good job most of the film, but there are moments when the script gets a bit...twisted...and her performance suffers. I blame the director more for that though.

Dexter Fletcher, a character actor you might recognize, is really good as one of the hired killers.

I guess I'll say it's worth a viewing if only to stare at Margot and see Pegg/Meyers do something different.

Her Harley Quinn inspired one of my checkboxes I need in order to determine whether or not I'd marry again.
