Company offers shelters for classrooms.

I honestly thought this was a hoax, but it's apparently legit.

Oklahoma is putting them into place as they're bulletproof and can withstand an EF5 tornado...not sure how that's possible in something that can be built in a day...

If this is all true at face value, then two things:
1. Buy stock immediately.
2. Why not put these into place instead of Trump's wall?

I've been training my kid in krav maga with the intention of him disarming a shooter and turning his own weapon on him, so I don't have an opinion about this. Keep the bystanders from getting in the way, I guess.

There is a 45-55% chance that your comment is serious.

"There is no such thing as playing fair if your life is at risk."

May or may not have been said to my son.

Now that's more acceptable.

I don't want to picture your kid running at a shooter trying krav maga moves that you taught him.

Nah, these kids never have training. They'll barrel around blind corners, be slow to reload, and rarely have backup. Tactical idiots with surprise, and soft targets, their only strength. Easily exploitable.

I wonder if video games will improve their training?

Maybe, but I think once they start firing that weapon, and the adrenaline is flowing, and the hands are shaking.... unless they practiced in a simulated school, it's the first time.

Might want to also train him on closing the distance with a shooter.

I figured out why "Shelter in Place" bugs me:
