The kid and I are going to start this tonight. I'm excited.

Yep, I used to watch that first-run, though.

I'm 5 or 6 in.
Be prepared for TONS of suspension of disbelief. OH, and ignoring the people not doing the obvious. Or doing the obviously wrong thing. And heavily predictable. I'm sticking with it just out of curiosity and because it's not unwatchable. But, meh. The first episode wasn't bad. But then all of the stuff above started happening. LOTS of rolling of my eyes.

Four episodes in. They are introducing... An aspect of these stories that I dislike. I hope it doesn't become what I think it is.
The kid and I FINALLY got to the last episode... because basically, this show wasn't that exciting, and didn't compel us to watch. After the 5th or 6th episode, when we realized, "this is it," we just pretty much grudge-finished it, just to say we did.
And there has been argument about "Doctor Smith," and whether or not she was an evil person.
The last 5 minutes revelation aside, I lean toward "space her." She is a violent, sociopathic menace when left to her own devices, I don't care how much of it was, "She is just trying to protect herself."
I hope S2 is a lot better than S1.

Just finished season 2. Still bad. CONstant questioning "Why are you doing that?" For being the smartest people in the universe, they sure do some fucked up things. Just so much eye rolling and them skipping/missing/ignoring obvious stuff. Seriously. Who writes for them? They are HORRIBLE. Just so bad. I REALLY want to like this show, and that's why I keep subjecting myself to it. But it's just not worth it. The characters, the actors (for the most part), the story has such great potential. But the writers. Holy fuck are they incompetent.
