I very politely asked him to simply be a little more respectful to his fellow forum dwellers. That was enough to drive him away apparently.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering, no I still haven't gone to read his response and I never will. I have already been told his response was more of the same and "weak".

To be honest, I've had him on ignore for a long while. If he commented on a subject like a movie or music or something where he'd have to try extra hard to be irritating, I'd click to see his comment.
Made him a lot more likable.
