Yay Netflix!
Australian film about a girl traveling in Europe who meets a man and goes on a date with him. Unfortunately for her, he wants her all to himself, so he locks her in his escape-proof apartment.
Meh. Definitely had some good moments, but also some odd choices too. For example: They try to humanize the bad guy, which seemed quite odd to me. So I should sympathize with this man who is a murderer, rapist, and kidnapper? The actor is good at portraying creepy, but his victim steals the show. She's great and believable.
The weakest part of the movie is the ending. Maybe I missed something as I was playing a game at the same time, but shit did not make sense.
You can skip it, but if your wife digs Lifetime movies, she'll enjoy it.
