On the video, a person on camera - whose identity is not clear - tells Mr Schear: "You and your wife will be in jail... it's a federal offence if you don't abide".
Motherfuckers who threaten that without actual, you know, authority behind them need to start getting bitchslapped.

I'm starting to think there is some really bad pressure being put on these flight crews to do things a certain way without taking into consideration the PR nightmares that are to follow. Kind of a "I don't care how you get it done, but do it or its your ass" sort of directives coming from corporate. Then when it blows up on them they worry about it.

Since 9/11, there's been a serious "flight crew is always right" thing going on, and it finally went too far with video evidence.
