White mentally challenged guy kidnapped and tortured for two days by four black people screaming anti-Trump and anti-white messages the whole time.

Police don't think it was racially motivated, and thus, not a hate crime.

First of all, why is it if a white guy refuses to wear black to a crime he's committing a hate crime, but black people can commit racist acts and say racists things and it's never a hate crime. Why is that? Are the MSM or the police too afraid to label black people as racist? Is it because the entire "hate crime" thing was invented to specifically appease a voting segment of the population and make them believe the government was cracking down on racists?

Secondly, let's say it was simply an attack based on the guy's political beliefs. Shouldn't that still be a hate crime?

They still need to link it to the motive and prove they did it because he was white or mentally disabled. The anti-Trump words don't mean much. The anti-white part probably screwed them.

Contrast with all the alleged Hate Crimes committed by Trump supporters:

Church fire: hoax
Hijab hate: hoax
Hijab hate 2: hoax
etc etc.

Really odd how none of these Hate Crimes ever wind up on video, but the attacks on Trump supporters and Whites do.

But he said police think the victim was attacked because he has "special needs", not because he is white.

Nothing about hate crime charges except they were investigation because he was handicapped.

In other videos posted online the young man is beaten, made to drink from a toilet bowl and forced at knife-point to say "I love black people".

Thinking these four are going away for a long, long time. I have not, and do not plan to watch the video. But I understand they managed to say things about race and his mental disability while torturing the poor man. So yeah, dual hate crimes to go with the rest of it. Be interesting to see how many years you can get for doing something this horrible to another human being.

Lesson to be learned: next time you want to detain and torture a white person, don't do it on camera.

I'm hoping the judge makes their sentences consecutive. I heard one lawyer saying he counted at least 20 assaults in the video alone and if sentenced consecutively they could be in jail for decades. Which I would be okay with.

I've often made the point that the death penalty is stupid because those sentences are often based on far less than ironclad evidence and anything less than unedited video footage is going to leave questions open. In this instance, I have no problem immediately putting a .45 to each of their temples and pulling the trigger. Barring extraordinary mental defects, I don't see any reason those fucks should draw breath anymore.

Stocks in the public square. For a decade.

As a warning to others.

Death. Life in jail. Public stocks. Any of the above.

If you want to give psychos pause, then that's not nearly enough. You need something way more harsh. I'd just as soon be done with them.

I think watching them rot alive in stocks would be a pretty good message. Or maybe one of those crow cages.

I think now would be a good time to argue that the whole "hate crime" idea is still stupid and needs to be done away with. Seems to me that normal non-criminal people are hating these people way more than they hated the victim. I saw nothing but gross indifference in their behavior. Personally, I think they are more dangerous than someone that "hates".

It's beyond stupid. It's done to appease certain demographics. It's affirmative action applied to crime. The funniest part about it is who it's supposed to appease versus actual crime stats regarding which races are violent against certain races.
