Jason Mewes to direct a movie.

You know Mewes better as Jay of "Jay and Silent Bob".

It's about a serial killer and isn't a comedy, so I'm more interested than I would have been if it was an attempt to duplicate Smith's work. I think that's where Anderson (Randall) went wrong in his directorial debut.

Mewes also takes on the lead role as a fictional version of himself, starring alonsgide a cast that includes Smith, Vinnie Jones, Danny Trejo, Teri Hatcher, Judd Nelson, Dean Cain, Casper Van Dien and Stan Lee.

I'm somewhat intrigued.
