I'll change the thread's title another day.

Working on a 10 hour long western.

I hope it's released as 1 single film.

Right, and I think it's time to get back to that. Movies as all day experience.

Don't we do it already with binge watching TV shows?

Fuck and no. The longest western I ever watched was the 5h25m uncut version of Heaven's Gate. Longer movies tend to bore the shit out of me with a few exceptions. Besides, any movie with Kevin Costner already feels like it's 10 hours anyway.

No, cuz they're still packaged for 30-60 minute pieces with their own arcs and cliffs, etc, that a true 10-hour movie wouldn't have.

How delusional to you have to be to think someone would want to sit through a ten hour Western, the worst genre in cinema?

I'd argue "the worst." Thus far, video game movies are kicking ass in that category, pound for pound (or minute for minute), whatever.
