Mosquito Coast

One of Harrison Ford's first movies after Star Wars. He plays a mechanical genius who is also very paranoid about civilization and longs to take his family into the jungles of South America to start a new life.... so they do that.

But then civilization finds them, and it all goes to shit, and you are left wondering whether he was crazy but right or crazy but wrong. There was a person earlier in the movie who nailed it: "You are one of the worst kinds of people... you're a know-it-all who is actually right sometimes."

There is also a really cringey line from a teenage girl I had forgotten about... I will let you watch and enjoy it fresh like I did.

Watched it with the kid...................... he thought it was interesting. Hopefully he learned some sort of lesson from it.

I remember this being one-half to two-thirds of a good flick, but then it falls flat by the end.
