Synopsis:
While surveying a forest for illegal logging, a dude really start to piss off the local faerie/fey things that live in it.

Review:
There's really been a very pro-nature sentiment in the past couple flicks I've seen. Are motherfuckers getting afraid of the wilderness again? Anyhow, this flick stars no one you've ever seen or heard. The Irish dude, Adam, moves his wife and infant son out to this incalculably looming and evil-looking abandoned mansion so he can scout the local woods for trees to cut down. For some unfathomable reason, he always takes his kid on these damn trips. During one, they get harassed on the way back and Adam notices huge claw marks raked across his car along one side. One of the townies conveniently drops a big-ass book of "Faerie Folk for Dummies" on their table and the real action begins.

"Pitched as Pan's Labyrinth meets Straw Dogs..."

Eh ... it eventually kind of gets there. Throw in a bit of The Fly as well.

Verdict:
Maybe worth a watch if you're a genre fan. Reminds me a lot of this.
