Found this on HBO.
Anna Kendrick is broken hearted when she meets Sam Rockwell. The thing is that Rockwell is the world's best assassin, but he's undergone a change in his moral code. Definitely a dark comedy, but heavier on the comedy than the dark.
Listen, this has an odd story, but it's far more entertaining that I would have thought. Kendrick and Rockwell have great chemistry. Kendrick is adorable. The action is solid and Rockwell is really endearing as a hitman gone good, but via bad methods. Oh, and Tim Roth is his former mentor that's hunting him.
I found myself wanting more when the movie ended, and that's a good thing. The world Max Landis created here could be a franchise.
