Yay! Netflix.

I am almost done with season 1.... episode 17ish.

GODDAM this show is corny. It has it's cute but trite little inside jokes with Mark Hammil and Brandon Routh, but fuck. The only reason I am still watching it is because the whole family can sit and watch it.

I also wish they were consistent with what Barry Allen can do. One episode he literally catches a bullet that was shot at him from behind, the next episode he gets stung by a slow bee with deadly venom. Yeah.

I found out after we started that we should have started with Arrow, since there are crossovers. After S1 of Flash we are going to go to S1 of Arrow, and I will hope it's less silly.

Was watching an episode late in season 2 tonight, and I noticed the dialogue and jokes seemed to be kicked up a notch, more so than usual.

Then that actor showed up.

Then I wondered if Kevin Smith had directed an episode.

Yep.

I love the little nerd nuggets they throw in this series. Last week's episode had Barry doing something to save the day and Cisco reaches over to his computer console and hits a button saying, "I've been waiting for a chance to use this", and the speakers in the lab start blasting the theme to the 80's Flash Gordon theme.

Smith is a favorite of the CW producers. He directs a lot of Supergirl and Flash. Not sure what other shows he does.
