So the Rotten Tomato score for this is 98%.

Is it worthy of the 98%? No. However, it's a damn good film. So why no 98%? A couple of conveniences instrumental in the plot. I won't tell you what they are to avoid spoilers, but you're generally an intelligent lot (when not thinking with your dicks), so you'll figure it out.

Drop your preconceived notions about the film that have kept you from seeing it, they're wrong.

Great acting. Great direction. Great pace. Excellent film. Its too bad the flaws are so critical to the story.

Absolutely worth seeing for everyone not named Catt. (It's a horror.)

Haven't seen it. My preconceived notion is that it is a movie written by a black person who has fantasies that white people like to kill black people and then made a movie about it. Am I wrong?

Horror shouldn't have to mean bad. I'm sure there's a good movie out there that's a horror movie. This was on my list to see some day.

You are wrong. I also thought it was a "down with whitey" movie. Written and directed by a black comedian known for sketches that Chappelle called "his show without him" (I'm paraphrasing) and married to white woman that's also a comedian. I will say this: You've got to watch the whole thing before you'll say, "Ooooooohhhhhh!"

But you think they're all bad. So that's on you.

It's not my fault they're all bad.

Actually, it is because they're not. You need to simply stop watching the genre because you won't be happy. If you can't find the greatness in Halloween, Friday the 13th, The Thing, Alien, The Exorcist, Jaws, and a handful of other films (I'm not trying to list them all) then you are the problem. You're the Malcolm of horror.

I mean, I hate Westerns generally, but I can see the greatness in The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Tombstone, and Unforgiven.

I disagree with your disagreement. I may have not gotten the exact motivation right, but I still saw this as a "See, white people are fucked up!" movie. That Japanese guy in the mix for three seconds... screamed "token asian to fool the white people." I never saw him anywhere in the background of any other scene. I think he was thrown in last second.

I'm glad I didn't pay to watch it. I don't like supporting that divisive attitude and message. Yay! Plex.

But finally a (mostly) sympathetic TSA character...

I mostly agreed, but I'd give this 3.5/5. Good movie, but very predictable and has some conveniences.

I think I would agree with 3.5.

The acting is fantastic, and the concept is pretty solid.

However, the farther out I get from the movie, the more I see problems with the story, and the more I hate the BF's scenes.

I can see that. But I was entertained. I liked the TSA agent. Though I kept seeing him as ironic.
