In an op-ed today at the Wall Street Journal, Pamela Anderson and Rabbi Shmuley Boteach decry what they describe as pornography’s “corrosive effects” on a “man’s soul,” and, as a result, porn’s negative impact on fatherhood and the institution of the family.

Yes, because no other demographic in any other country at any point in time except the modern American man has ever made stupid decisions for pussy. I'm especially blown away that a rabbi can say that with a straight face.

How many families will suffer? How many marriages will implode? How many talented men will scrap their most important relationships and careers for a brief onanistic thrill? Anderson and Boteach call for a “sensual revolution” in which “orgasmic release” is done within “binding relationships.” Porn, in this framing, has no room apparently in long-term relationships or marriage

They conclude, “porn is for losers,” and reiterate that “healthy sexuality,” and porn consumption are inherently at odds.

It's weird that Pam Anderson is now against porn when the last person stopped wanting to see her naked.
