Rumoured to be teaming up with Richard Pryor one last time.

That sucks. He was pretty awesome. He'll get to live on forever in some classic movies.

I can't say I ever terribly cared for him. He was in Willy Wonka, and was good in that role, but that movie was so boring, and I just always associated him with its boringness.

Never saw Young Frankenstein... or Blazing Saddles.

I think I saw Stir Crazy, but have almost no memory of it.

Blazing Saddles you should watch sometime. I think I'll watch it myself, I'm curious as to see if the race humor still works these days.

Young Frankenstein is a favorite of mine.

I think the reason YF still works is because he isn't playing it straight... he KNOWS these people are completely off... but he tries to not be rude.

"Puttin' on tha Riiiitz..."

I actually bought Blazing Saddles a few years back because I figured it was only a matter of time before you could no longer purchase it.

I've been wondering about that, too.

I cannot understand why you hate yourself so much that you'd intentionally punish yourself like this...

That should have been in addition to the Mel Brooks stuff.

I made some calls and pulled some strings for you, but I could only get them to do one of these two. They overruled me on the other one.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Blazing Saddles will be screened Sept. 3 and 4 at 55 AMC locations nationwide, with tickets for each title costing a standard $5.

The AMC website is useless. I can't find any showing in the entire country on the dates in the article. I give up.

Ah, thank you.

I live right next to one of the theaters on that list, but their website refuses to admit that they'll be showing those movies this weekend. Weird.
