This link could contain a major spoiler, so be careful...

Autobot to debut could indicate another's fate.

Everyone is losing their shit saying Optimus kills Bumblebee. I must have watched a different trailer.

That's cute. I'm pretty sure there are three more movies planned for the next 3-5 years.

This is a shitty franchise that just keeps going and going. A lot like Fast and Furious.

I didn't grow up watching the F&F cartoon or reading the F&F comics. The Transformer flicks seem so fucking bad. Only a matter of time before they pussify Unicron.

F and F actually got decent after the... 4th? film. I mean, for an action series.

I like the Transformer movies just as mindless fun and action. They are like the Harry Potter movies for me except in a tech genre rather than a fantasy genre.

So Earth has become some leaderless place, which isn't explained at all considering all of society is still standing, and Markie Mark is like Clara Barton to the Autobots. Prime is missing because they don't know where he is, which is fucking hilarious considering what he's doing and when you consider the logistics of it all. Hint: He needed help.

Anyway, the Decepticons are searching for a staff that has the power to resurrect Cybertron. Why they didn't just go looking for this in the first film, we'll never know. They're lead by Megatron who died in the last film, but whateves. Continuity means nothing in this universe apparently.

There's a shot at Shia, there's an attractive woman whose an expert on King Arthur who just happens to be single, and there's an orphaned kid that happens to be a genius and has a pet robot.

Prime's a bad guy for all of 5 minutes on screen. He also doesn't kill anyone and how he's snapped out of it is really dumb. I didn't even see where Bumblebee got the part necessary, but again, details aren't Michael Bay's strong point.

Hey look, the Dinobots! They're really tiny, but also gigantic later for some reason? They don't bother explaining. Did you know the Dinobots can combine to form some big ass Autobot?
So when the villains do it, you expect them to show up and do it, but nope. It never happens.

This movie is laughably bad. Special effects are great, but meaningless without character and a story.
