In other words, according to the original paper, social conservatism was associated with psychotic traits such as interpersonal aggression, hostility, impulsiveness, and more, while liberalism was associated with “social desirability,” which in the paper represents a desire to get along with others.
What crackhead thought that was a valid conclusion to begin with?
Now, in a remarkable correction, the paper’s original authors have announced that their original conclusion was not only incorrect, but was actually the opposite of reality, thanks to some baffling mistake while assembling their data.
Da fuq? I'm waiting until a real analyst comes along and looks at the data.

I remember that the MSM picked up the story when the original was published. Let's see how far they run with the correction.

That's not a bad point. They already fucked up once.

I suspect if the media comments at all. the new analysis of the results has far less implications than the original.

Kind of like the story about Thomas Jefferson's "slave children". After that DNA evidence was shown to be less than conclusive, I think only 4 of the 60+ some-odd newspapers ran the correction.
