This is a bit surreal.
The "Tiger Temple," in Kanchanaburi Province west of Bangkok, has long been popular with tourists, who could walk among the tigers and pose for photos.
You read that right. There's a Thai temple that has over 100 tigers on some leashes. No cages or bars or any of those pesky precautions against the hundreds of pounds of fur, teeth, and claws if they decide today's not your day. Their defense?
"There is nothing illegal and dangerous at all," said Pakcharoong. "If they do like this, it would affect the tourism industry."

This shit got way more interesting really fast.
Thai authorities found 40 dead tiger cubs in a freezer during a raid on a Buddhist temple Wednesday.

... and it turns out the place was a front for black market tiger parts.
