The Do-Over

The second Adam Sandler Netflix exclusive.
David Spade is a whipped loser who runs into childhood friend Sandler at their high school reunion. Spade is impressed by Sandler's life and Sandler convinces Spade he can be more. The two of them wind up involved in a massive conspiracy where both of their life choices are questioned.
This movie is light years better than Sandler's first Netflix exclusive film. The story is actually decent and interesting. Also, Sandler and Spade attempt acting and it works.
They really toned down the dumb humor in favor of well setup jokes. Is there some childish stuff? Of course, but they used it sparingly here versus The Shitty Six or whatever the fuck that western was called.
Not the greatest film ever, but worth a viewing. There are some good laughs to be found.
