I'd be interested to know if they also deny ad space to other potentially harmful things, like alcohol, homeopathic medicines, and sodas?

Based solely on the image for that article and this quote:

They'll be discussing fat acceptance, fat activism and fatshion, from a feminist, body-positive perspective.

I would say FB is wrong to deny one group while, more than likely, allowing other bullshit as TPR points out.

However, I can't get behind the movement in question. Obesity is the number one killer in this country and shouldn't be celebrated as if it's other people's problem for not accepting you.

People shouldn't be ashamed of not being "perfect", but Mama June shouldn't be the poster child for the movement.(Despite how attractive Catt finds her.)

I'm with Leisher. Except the last sentence. And hey, I didn't say attractive! 2/10 is like 5% percentile or such. You're the one who'd sleep with a 5.

That's because I understand that on a scale of 1-10, a 5 is average. A plain Jane, next door girl who, while unmemorable in the looks area, isn't ugly enough to chew your arm off to get away from in the morning. 5s and 6s work harder in bed too. Don't sell them short.
