May 18th marked 89th year since the first school shooting.

Weird how this is never brought up when folks are talking about the "gun problem".

I remember reading up on that one.

I know Glenn Beck went back and searched for the earliest news story of a "gun incident" in a school. It went back to the mid to late 1800's. It was a one room school house like you see on "Little House". At any rate, it appears that the teacher had moved a couple of states over from where he'd racked up some gambling debts. The guy that he owed money to tracked him down and showed up in the school house. He drew a weapon on the teacher and demanded his money. At that point about half the class drew their firearms on the class intruder.

The incident ended without gunfire :)

That's not a school shooting. It's a school explosion; I know this case a bit. The dude blows up the school because he sucked ass at farming and was in debt. He was a much better, and even some say even exceptional, mechanic and could've have earned his living that way. Why the fuck he needed plants is the mystery. Anyhow, he blows the fuck out of his own house, and afterwards the guys sifting through the debris crunched some numbers. Based on the remains of farm equipment found in the rubble, he had more than enough hardware sitting around to get out of the red with money left over.

The stories about the guy was that he was pretty lazy.

I'm unemployed with bees and chickens. Guess I could be called a farmer, too.

His neighbours said he was endlessly tinkering with his farm equipment and the processes of farming. He sounded more interested in experimenting than producing.

Or a sex educator. Get some kids and learn them about the birds and the bees.

I didn't know you had bees. Separate out a queen next Spring and come up and help me set up a hive.
