I don't make excuses for Facebook, because fuck them, but when you consider their sheltered, liberal, millennial demographic and their 'get more people so we have more advertising data' business model, it's not difficult to understand why they chose to overlook it.

I've heard more than once that a lot of lefties, when encountering a right-wing post, report it en masse as "hate speech," no matter what it says, because that's fake but accurate.
