You seem to be under the impression that you can not have ejaculation without porn. Not that I'd disagree that it makes it much easier, but men have been masturbating for a few thousand years before porn was readily accessible.

I think the arguments are approaching from the wrong direction. Porn makes alterations to brain chemistry... fine. So does employment. The human brain needs to be altered from its basic state. If you want to see why, look at Somalia and Syria.

I'm pretty sure the first cave paintings were pornography. And before then men didn't need to worry about masturbating when they could just find a female to rape. But times have changed.

Of course there are sane former porn stars and crew members. However, there's also a large number that are dead or bat shit insane. I think common sense would say that working in that industry would make you a bit desensitized to sex and definitely would be something that follows you around forever.

As Jake "The Snake" Roberts once said about his failed marriage: (and I'm paraphrasing) "A man can't be on the road for 300 days a year having women throw themselves at you and willing to do whatever comes to your mind, then go home and "make love" in a vanilla way." I got the quote completely wrong, but the message is there.

Also, I posted a study here a long time ago that showed immediate access to any kind of porn imaginable was having a negative effect on people. Younger guys showing less interest in sex and/or being unable to get it up is becoming a real issue.

Does that mean I think porn should be banned? Fuck no. People can deny this, but porn is actually important. For some people it's a tool. For some it's release. I just think folks need to moderate their own usage. If you're watching so much that it's causing issues with your marriage because normal sex with your wife isn't turning you on, you might have a problem.
