Figured we should break this out into its own thread since there's two Ghostbusters movies in the works.

I like the look, and I was slightly amused by the gags. I actually smirked at one part.

I hope those weren't the best gags.

It could've been all men with the same jokes, and it still would have sucked.

Sure, all the ones with "Jersey" in the title completely suck but he's got at least 3 decent ones.

I stand with Kevin. That looks terrible. Hope it's just the trailer.

Yeah, I called "not funny" on day 1, but on the other hand, I grow weary of trailers giving away too much plot and all the best jokes.

So here's hoping the trailer people got intelligent for a change.

They're linking themselves to Hillary now or something.

"We've got this franchise that some sexist assholes already think we're shitting on, so we naturally think associating with the second most hated presidential candidate in history only has 'up' written on it."

I think this one might end up with the opposite issue from the original.

To be honest, the original didn't wow me nearly as much as the hype made me believe I should have been wowwed. It was okay... humorous even... but no where near as great as all the hubbub had lead me to believe it should have been.

The couple of theater trailer I've seen for this seemed to produce zero interest from what I saw and heared. Actually heard a couple of groans.

I think this one will do worse that it probably should. The original certainly did better than it should have.

I don't know about legendary but the original was damn good. The sequel should be forgotten. Even the shitty '80s cartoon was decent because the Babylon 5 dude wrote most of the eps for a few seasons. The preview doesn't have me holding out hope.

[semi-large black Ghostbuster chick tries to crowd surf, jumps, everyone lets her fall]
"I don't know if it's a race thing or a lady thing but I'm mad as hell!"

Awesome. That's half a step away from a Tyler Perry ghostwriting job.

I saw exactly one episode of that cartoon and it had a line I've never forgotten.

Venkman and some reporter get sucked into the ghost storage containment unit. A swarm of some sort of monster is coming right for them. The reporter asks, "What do you call those things?"

And Venkman answers, "I call them slightly less annoying than you."

I remember being a bit disturbed by some of those eps around age seven or eight. It was on Saturday mornings, so no one was up but me. I can't recall any specifics but I have vague recollections of some of the ghosts being freaky as shit.

I'm hearing a lot of "Fantastic Four" type rumors coming out about this all ladies version of Ghostbusters.

Did you know Paul Feig wouldn't even go to a party if Ivan Reitman was invited? He didn't want to talk to him in any way, shape, or form because he didn't want his opinion on Ghostbusters. Feig thought Ghostbusters wasn't good and had his own opinions over how to make it better.

Keep that in mind when you see the film.

Judd Apatow shows how much of a prick he is.
I would assume there’s a very large crossover of people who are doubtful Ghostbusters will be great and people excited about the Donald Trump candidacy.
Go fuck yourself, you fifth-rate John Hughes.

Ah,. Nice observation. If you are dubious about this movie, you are a sexist, racist, nazi. He should have just said that and been honest about what he meant.

Judd Apatow just accomplished what Obama promised, but could never deliver upon. He united people from all political beliefs, sexes, races, etc. to unite as one and skewer his stupid ass all over the internet.
