Penny Arcade just finished principal shooting for Automata, a sci-fi noir that gives me Blade Runner vibes. Check the strips in the PA archive if you're interested. I await my free digital copy from kickstarting it.

I wish I had known about this when the Kickstarter was active.

Update:
Our new timeline is to finish the series by end of year and release it at the beginning of 2017.
Whatever, I'll wait. They managed to snag Doug Jones for some voice work. You may remember him as the dude that played everything except the voice of Abe Sapien.

I get the feeling I just missed the FedEx dude with my hoodie today. Will hopefully show tomorrow before the flight out.

Got around to watching Eps I-V, which looks to be the first of at least a couple cohesive stories. Each one is about 10-15 minutes long. Actually pretty good. Doug Jones (the dude who was Abe Sapien's body in Hellboy) does the best android voice I've heard since Brent Spiner. The male lead is the K-Mart version of Aaron Echkhart.
