I don't know about this whole movie thing for Activision/Blizzard.
I saw the trailers for the Warcraft movie and immediately thought "that's a rental". I'm predicting it doesn't do well.
Soon they'll make a Diablo movie and then what? What other properties does Blizzard have? Of those additional properties they might have, how many have they actually worked on?
Oh yeah, Starcraft. So they'll do gang buster business in South Korea...

Anything could be done well. A Postal movie could have been done well.
I have no feeling one way or the other, but I'll probably have a better idea once I see Warcraft.

I thought you said a Portal movie, which is something I would want to see.
The rest of all this not so much.

Yeah, but I like Diablo's story fodder and atmosphere. Gothic horror seems more interesting than trailer park shoot 'em ups.

Warcraft movie looks bad.
Diablo movie would be cool - maybe do the stories of 1+2, but start at 2, tell the backstory, slowly explain that the hero is hunting this awful bad guy, who used to be an old pal/mentor that succumbed to the corruption. Actually now it's starting to sound like Star Wars.

I've got a tendency to hit PGDN on load.

The Lost Vikings is easily their most cinematic property.

Starring Minnesota's offense.
