Shelved.
The director said he had given the "Hateful Eight" script to three actors he has worked with before: Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern and Tim Roth.
Tarantino absolved Roth and said, "One of the others let their agent read it, and that agent has now passed it on to everyone in Hollywood. I don't know how these … agents work, but I'm not making this next. I'm going to publish it, and that's it for now."

Now that the cops want me to protest his movies, I may have to see this in the theatre. Maybe twice.

Weird connections. I love shit like this.
in "Kill Bill Vol. 2," Beatrix Kiddo is buried under a tombstone marked "Paula Schulz." While it's never been confirmed, many believe Paula to be the late wife of Dr. King Schulz, who is the titular hero's partner in "Django Unchained."

Watched it on the flight to Vegas.
Awesome film. The acting was off the charts amazing. Dialogue was typically perfect.
Possibly my favorite Samuel L. Jackson performance. Walton Goggins has been a fav since The Shield. Jennifer Jason Leigh was disgustingly great.
The story was good despite how far he had to streeeeeeeeeeetch the reasoning behind what was going on...
See it.

Whoa. As I was reading that I thought this was about the Ridiculous 6 and wondered if you had lost your mind.

There's some crossover potential.

Ha!
This is just like when I gave a positive review of Hercules (with The Rock) and you guys thought I was nuts because you thought I was reviewing the "Rock-less" version called The Legend of Hercules.

Tbh I am getting a little weary of Tarentino's long winded storytelling style.

I enjoy a good epic, particularly one with solid characterization.
I do wish Tarentino would do something in the modern world again or even in a futuristic one.

I don't think he will. His oeuvre is too firmly rooted in film history to have much interest in films set in modern or future times.
Besides even when he does do one set in modern times they still feel like a sort of period piece because of his style.

He's the cat who owns a 9mm cut of "Manos, the Hands of Fate."
