On AMC.
No way in hell does this even live up to half of the content of the book.
This needed to be on HBO or Showtime.
If you've never read this series, you should. It's VERY adult and controversial. That's all I want to say about it without spoiling anything.

Yeah. Wow. I can't even imagine how they'd write in Cassidy. The Saint of Killers would get mangled, too.

AMC orders pilot.
I have faith in AMC because of The Walking Dead (although they did mistreat it early on...), but I still think they're the wrong channel for this project.
Netflix, HBO, or Showtime are the only places that could get away with the content.
Preacher makes Game of Thrones look like The Reading Rainbow.

No idea who is good enough. Right off the top of my head, I believe the dream casting would be Clint Eastwood.

Yeah.
I believe the dream casting would be Clint Eastwood.
SoK was designed to move and act like Eastwood. He looks were a mix of Eastwood and Lee Marvin.

The show cannot match what's in the books, at least not on AMC.
I highly recommend the books. There's only a dozen or so volumes.
And Jesse isn't supernatural, but...

I watched the pilot. I thought it would be decent, but I really liked it and am looking forward to more.

I've got them all on DVR. The wife and I are looking forward to starting it. She's never read the book so she has no idea what to expect.
