Compound Fracture

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Synopsis:
Tyler Mane and Derek Mears (who have fucked up Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees, respectively) take some time off from bad reboots of classic franchises with an original horror flick.

Review:
Tyler's production company was behind this, and the script was written by himself and his wife (who also stars as his fiancee).

As the story goes, Tyler's family is a bit weird and has some quite serious rituals for bringing in or kicking people out of their bloodline. He runs away from home when he's a kid and returns back a couple decades later because, damnit, the plot has to get moving. He drags along his girlfriend/fiancee and their adopted Robert Smith-wanna be son. His mother was Tyler's sister.

Anyhow, due to all the family members gathering in one place, some shit starts going down.

Verdict:
Saying much more would start spoiling some of the plot points. Normally, I'd do that, but this flick isn't horrible. I'm not calling it good, either, though. The acting feels like it's missing something and the budget's obviously on the low side. Just feels like 50-75% of a screenplay.
