The end of an era.
They need to cancel the show when he leaves and let someone make a new show to replace it. The Daily Show is just too full of Jon Stewart's style for anyone else to take the helm and make it their own.

To be fair, someone else hosted the show before Jon Stewart.

Yeah, but no one watched it.
Whatever happened to Craig Kilborn, anyway?

I think he went back to the 7th level of hell.
That guy was a major asshole.

Last thing he did of any note was a guest shot on Chuck, I think.

At first, I remember thinking it was a lot funnier when it was Craig's show, and was disappointed with Jon. But he certainly made it his own.

Yeah, I liked craig kilborne. He invented the Moment of Zen. I think he quit to do bigger things... Stupid.

Trevor Noah is the new host.
And apparently he's not a big fan of Jews or women.

Interesting choice.
I hope they don't cave to the complaints.

Apparently, they've been turned down a lot. Poeller, Schumer, and...someone I'm not remembering (a guy) have all turned them down.
Also, I disagree. If the guy is anti-Jews and anti-woman, he's probably not the correct choice. I mean, I realize it's a left wing show, but I think that's too far left wing.

I didn't find his humour that offensive.

If the guy is anti-Jews and anti-woman...
He's clearly not. The logic behind these complaints is similar to calling Sir Mix A Lot anti-women because of Baby Got Back. i.e. it's bullshit.

None of the tweets bugged me until the one about Israel and peace. I think there's a point where you have to ask what's comedy and what's real.
I mean, would you be shocked if he came out as anti-Israel? And if not, why would you be shocked if he was anti-woman?
He's clearly not.
Where's your proof?

My proof is the tweets. I read them all. I assert that if you found any of those offensive (yes, even the one about Israel you mention) then you are probably someone that is looking for a reason to be offended.
EDITED to add:
I think there's a point where you have to ask what's comedy and what's real.
If there's no realism in your comedy it's probably not funny.

I got no issue with it.

Then you are 100% wrong. I have no interest in Israel one way or the other, and I had never heard of Trevor Noah prior to this announcement.
I wasn't "looking for a reason to be offended", nor was I offended by his tweet, I just think it's a bit interesting. If a lot of his humor hits the same subject over and over, there's probably some truth to it. Ask a comedian.

I can't see any major party in the Middle East seriously thinking about a peaceful solution allowing any kind of coexistence among the various groups over there. I don't think they're serious because they don't think it's possible. Guess they'll have to spend another couple centuries blowing the fuck out of each other.

So you agree with me that none of the tweets were offensive? Then in what way am I 100% wrong?
