A hockey movie starring Stiffler as a bar bouncer who gets spotted doing his thing by a farm league hockey coach. Been a while since I saw it, but it felt like a spiritual successor to Slapshot.
I laughed a lot, but I had a couple beers in me... that may have helped.

This has been in my Netflix queue for an eternity. Finally watched it last weekend while I was laid up.
Seann William Scott stars in this "based on a true story" film as Doug Glatt, a bouncer whose fighting skills get him noticed by a lower tier hockey coach.
(The real Doug Glatt is Doug Smith and the film has the same tone as his climb into the world of hockey, but the events are complete Hollywood fabrication.)
You don't have to give a fuck about hockey to enjoy this film. It's more just a spotlight on this guy's life and how everyone responds to him. He's got the whacko friend, the odd love interest, the awesome hockey player friend with no confidence, and all the while he's being watched by the elder goon doing his swan song (Liev Schreiber).
All the acting is great, and it's more entertaining than I expected.
Recommended.

Being the first to watch it makes me the coolest.
Sports movies don't sit unwatched for long in my queue.
