Quite possibly one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
If the Disney Channel made movies like SyFy, this would be their Sharknado.
It stars Justin Whalin, whose career seems to have ended when this movie came out (not kidding), as a guy who becomes a superhero despite not having any powers.
The plot and everything in the film, and I cannot (FUCKING CANNOT) stress this enough, is fanfic. They steal lines, music, scenes, plot devices, etc. from a bunch of far better and more popular movies. For example, the Back to the Future time travel device is used and even looks exactly like the one in that movie. Also, the emperor's chamber from Return in used in a scene that is played out almost exactly like that scene.
What drew me to this movie was the rest of the cast:
Sam Lloyd (Ted from Scrubs)
The current queen of scream, Danielle Harris
Ryan McPartlin (Captain Awesome from Chuck)
Michael Rooker (Daryl's brother from The Walking Dead)
Tiny Lester
Adam West
June Lockhart
Clint Howard
and several other B list celebrities.
Avoid this movie with extreme prejudice.
