Sharknado was awesome for two reasons:
1. Science is a real thing.
2. The people behind Sharknado didn't let that stand in their way.

Sharknado 2 can best be summed up as follows:
Ever have a joke (doesn't have to be a malicious joke) about someone that everyone else found funny? Then that person finds out and instead of the joke dying right there, they try to give it additional life by playing it up, only it goes over terribly and all the humor is gone.

That's Sharknado 2. They know its ridiculous, but now that they're in on the joke, it's not as funny.

I won't try and list out what's wrong with the film because they do that themselves...a skyscraper is filling with rising water, despite the streets not being flooded at the time, and one of the characters says "How is that possible" (see how they've ruined the joke?)...

The first one was fun because it was made BEFORE everyone mocked it. This one is just awkward.

I just looked to confirm a suspicion, and yes, I did see Will Wheaton being eaten by a shark in the opening scene. (He's a passenger on a passenger jet...) I did not know that his wife was apparently sitting next to him.
