If the new one does well, and the sequel is green lit, Arnold will be in it.

Are you Sarah Conner?

Nope.

T:Genisys got 26% on Rotten Tomatoes, another rating with which I disagree. It wasn't great, but it wasn't an F- movie.

I agree with you, but I think it was more a result of people getting sick of Hollywood fucking with classics.

I mean, if you consider the story line, they shredded the original, shit it out, and made it irrelevant. (Basically doing the same to the sequel.) There have been two good movies in this franchise, and the latest one basically said they were meaningless. I could see that causing some issues with fans of the series.

I completely agree with you, but the TV series rewrote the timeline hard, anyway. It's sort of established in the series that the future isn't written, there is NO FATE.

I'm pretty sure "cancellation" is a fate.

Cameron may be back on board.
Deadline is reporting that James Cameron is engaged in early talks to return to his Terminator franchise, not as a director, but in a godfather role for Deadpool’s Tim Miller, who would direct a “reboot and conclusion” to the franchise.
Then they totally jinx it.
Directors returning to reboot a beloved franchise has its own troubled history: George Lucas’s Star Wars prequel trilogy is a frequent punching bag, while Ridley Scott’s 2012 sort-of return to the Alien franchise, Prometheus, earned its own heaps of criticism. That said, there are high hopes for Alien: Covenant, which appears to get back to the roots of the series, not to mention Blade Runner 2049, which Scott is producing.

Cameron and Arnie are back.

This sequel will be about why Arnold was the prototype.

Cameron also says in the article "then Conan". I'd prefer a final Conan movie over another Terminator movie.

This new film is going to be a direct sequel to T2. Are you Sarah Connor? Yes.
