If you remember Anthony Jeselnik from the Charlie Sheen roast, you may be interested to know that Comedy Central gave him his own show that debuted this week. Insult comedy along the lines of a modern day Don Rickles as opposed to George Carlin.

I meant to check that out. I'll look for a repeat. It's on after Tosh right?

I believe so. On a side note, one of his guests (Amy Schumer) is playing in town in the next couple weeks. Seeing if I can weasel a ticket to it.

He was dating Schumer for a long time apparently.

Nice article about Season 1.

I agree. It's a solid show.

Sure, there’s a Jeff Ross in there occasionally, but for the most part, a stellar lineup of comedians.

Burn.

He's in town Friday. Going to see the routine.

Jeff Ross is an all around nice guy. He's good friend with Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla and I hear good things about him in some of their stories.
I liked The Burn, but I haven't seen it awhile. Did it get canceled?

Amy Schumer is good. I have Mostly Sex Stuff and her Comedy Central special both on my DVR. She was pretty good on Adam Carolla's podcast, but used some of her material rather than thinking up funny stuff on the fly.

I used to record The Jeselnik Offensive but took it off my record list. It's crude, but I lose interest mid-way through.

Some of my favourites from last night:

"My grandfather became a Nazi hunter after the war. Mostly deer."

"I like this city you got here, real safe. No marathons."

"When I was on Jimmy Fallon, before I went on, I had to explain my act to the standards person there. She said that associating Asians with the laundromat or dry cleaning profession was too racist. So then I said, 'How about building railroads?' 'Perfect,' she said."

[pause, some laughter]

"Half of you got that and the other half didn't fucking go to class."
