Robert Rodriguez, so I will reserve judgment instead of coming right out with "It's gonna suck."

Plot Concept: The story involves a very intense group of people stranded on a Predator planet discovering unspeakable horrors - that are not always from outside their group.

Fuck. I was w\ them until that last bit.

I wasn't a fan of Rodriguez's half of "Grind House".

Did he do Planet Terror or Deathproof?

Saw it. It was pretty much exactly what I expected it to be, so no surprises. I give the film an A for being a predator flick that they didn't screw up too badly, and a B- for execution. They could have done a couple things a little better to give the audience a hint at some of the characters' real personalities, I thought.

I think less characters that you were supposed to give a crap about, and more meatshields would have helped a bit.

Even the slightest hint at that one guy's offenses at any point would have helped the ending.

Was reading another discussion that said The Blair Witch Project was a better Predator movie than this one was.

Interesting thought.

Was just interesting to think of that movie as a predator flick.... from what I am remembering, it could fit.

Minus real action, the interesting antagonist, the special effects, and a host of other things ... yeah.

Was just a REALLY GOOD predator. His targets never even caught him on film.

Neither did the audience.

Exactly!

From now on, the Blair Witch was actually a predator.

Picked some real tough prey. Dumb-ass, broke film students with no military training.

But they were HIGHLY annoying. He killed them to add to the mystique of that area, and attract real prey.
