If you have girls, I'll just assume you've seen this 10 times, and want to beat any non-related person that starts singing "Let It Go"
Everything that is wrong with it

I have three girls, and somehow my wife and I have not seen this movie despite my girls having seen it multiple times.
Should I feel lucky?
I've heard people rave about it, but other people say it's a fine movie, but nowhere near worthy of the hype.

I would go with the latter. I was underwhelmed. I thought it was like Tangled, but different and not as good. Having girls, the moral of sisters, and them not having to be saved by a Prince was nice.

Had a family night tonight, and I'm confused as to why this movie is talked about like it's the best thing Disney ever made.
LOTS of plot problems. So many things in the story didn't make any sense at all. The humor felt forced at times. One of the baddies was Scream 2 level bullshit (I'm referring to intentional misdirection by the makers).
Tangled was miles better.

As far back as I can recall, everyone talks about the latest major Disney movie as if it's the best thing ever made. Until the next one comes out.

I like it. Why not? The Princesses could use a little more variety.
And before there are complaints, it's not about making Elsa gay. It never came up in the original, so really insisting she must be hetero is just as much about changing the character than if she is written as gay.

Only if her GF is also a minority. Swing for the fences.

They should just make it a guy and when these same people complain Disney should respond with:"You don't know how he/she identifies. Show some tolerance."

1. I always thought her character was VERY gay, anyway... the entire "Let It Go" sequence screamed "coming out of the closet."
2. Even so, yeah, let's just keep catering to that tiny minority. No way there will be backlash. Disney would be smart to make no statement either way.

And that word filter got annoying the second time around as fast as it did the first time.
