It's 2.7%, which is 3% and it was 18K jobs. Why change the numbers if they're meaningless?
Also, why avoid discussing all the negatives? These wages didn't increase in a vacuum. All those people lost jobs. Are they all now employed elsewhere or are they on the government teat costing everyone more? Prices went up over 13%. That's going to push up the COL for everyone in a time when the COL is unaffordable for most. Bonus: The people who eat at fast food places and are most likely to be negatively affected by the 13% price hike are the working class, which includes fast food workers. Plus, the people who kept their jobs saw an average of two months worth of hours lost, which completely negates the wage increase.
The big picture is more than just x lost their jobs while x got a pay raise.

UCSB study confirms previously posted study stating the minimum wage increase had more negatives than positives.

CA adds two big new taxes on its citizens. Maybe they need more money to finally finish that rail line from LA to SF? Or to solve homelessness? To better fight wild fires and mud slides? Maybe to find better solutions to their constant water shortages? Or maybe to fight crime?

Uh, ooops.California recently approved major tax increases in its state budget, introducing a digital software tax Descriptive Anchor Text, a health plan tax Descriptive Anchor Text, and increases to the gas tax Descriptive Anchor Text, while also preparing for major ballot measures in November Descriptive Anchor Text.
This subjects digital products and commonly used apps to the state's base sales tax of 7.25% (and up to roughly 10-12% depending on the jurisdiction)

The digital software tax is the one really pissing people off, and is yet another thing that is making corporations look to move out of CA.

Just found out why. Paramount told CA that if they sue to block the WB merger, they'll leave the state. They, and a who's who of other blue states, have filed the lawsuit.
